Fees

Healthy Wealth has no portfolio or net wealth requirements. We work with people in all phases of their financial journey. We believe your fees should be transparent and do everything we can to put your best interests first.

To ensure you know exactly what you're paying and to affirm that none of the recommendations to move assets are due to a financial benefit for Healthy Wealth, we do not use the value of your managed portfolio to dictate how much you are billed. If you prefer your calculated monthly fee to be pulled from assets that we manage, that is permitted. Both one time (hourly) and ongoing comprehensive planning are available.

Hourly Project

Hourly planning will only be offered for plans with low complexity or for a targeted inquiry. The rate for an hourly project is $300 / hour and there is a 3-hour minimum for any project. Hourly billing includes the time assessing documents and time spent writing the recommendation, as well as the face-to-face time with you as a client. The client will be responsible for implementing plan recommendations.

Comprehensive Planning

Comprehensive planning has a minimum fee of $2,880 per year which breaks down to monthly payments of $240. There is a one-time $495 plan construction fee due on the first billing date. Fees may be higher than the minimum and are based on plan complexity. For ongoing clients, fees have an annual 2.5% inflation adjustment and will be reevaluated at major life changes, whichever happens first. All prospective clients will receive a complimentary one-hour initial consultation to allow both parties to determine if we are a good fit. Click here to view the complexity calculator. All prospective clients will receive a detailed fee proposal and billing options prior to signing an agreement.

Billing Bias

We understand that all billing models have inherent biases built in. With ongoing flat fee planning, the concern would be that contact is too limited. To help prevent this, we establish meetings on an average of 6-to-8-week intervals until your plan is settled. That timeline may be compressed or extended to fit the needs of the household. Evaluating and making initial adjustments to a plan often takes about 1 year but can be more or less, depending on each individual circumstance. After that, households typically move to a lower meeting cadence. We prefer two to three meetings per year to touch base, with meetings sooner as life changes indicate; however, if we cannot establish a meeting in a 12-month period, planning will be terminated.  Special circumstances, such as a deployment, that prevent a client from being able to meet will be exempt from the termination policy.

Asset management is not required but is preferred. When managing, we can facilitate overall execution and implement tax strategies in real time. Management is included in the comprehensive planning fee structure at no additional cost.
